This past Friday, we had the honor of celebrating the fathers and father figures of The “Great” James Madison community. Fathers are more than providers, they are mentors, protectors, role models, and a source of strength, guidance, and support in the lives of our students.
As Father’s Day approaches on June 21, let’s all take time to recognize and celebrate the incredible fathers and father figures who make a difference every day.

De’Shalya Montgomery Of James Madison High School Earns Over $3 Million In Scholarships

De’Shalya Montgomery, a graduating senior from THE GREAT James Madison High School in Dallas ISD Class of 2026, has earned more than $3 million in scholarship offers from colleges and universities across the country. Her incredible accomplishment reflects years of hard work, academic excellence, and dedication, making her a proud representation of James Madison High School and Dallas ISD.
