This week last year I submitted my application to The Secretary of State to become a legal entity. A year later, I’m getting my second round of items for my new and improved version of my activity books. 🤩💜💛💚

These boxes represent tangible evidence of the ideas that were stuck in my brain. For 3 years I did not pursue this journey because of fear, imposter syndrome & because it didn’t fit the plan I’d set for myself. 😫🤦🏾‍♀️ Eventually I got tired of my own excuses & ignoring the voice of God.

A year later I still do not fully know what I am doing, 😅but I have developed a great habit of asking questions, finding help, figuring it out & trusting His plan. It has been one of the best journeys I’ve been on & I’m excited to see my small business grow & grow! I never envisioned “entrepreneur” on my bingo card, but so far I’m playing a good game! 😉

Thank you to everyone who has told me they’re proud, supported me, shared my post, encouraged me, etc. I’m grateful & I hope and pray that this leads you to do the BIG things you’re hesitant to do, whether it be personal, educational or professional. Do it scared! Do it now! The time will pass whether you do it or not… Act Accordingly‼️

Happy New Year! 🎇🎉🎆 2023 was mind blowing for Alton Interactive Academics. It’s been an interesting & confirming adventure that I’m going to continue to explore!

Here are 3 facts about Alton Interactive Academics:
- In April 2023, AIA became a legal entity! 😄🎉👏🏾
- In November 2023, AIA became a certified minority business enterprise through the National Minority Supplier Development Council! 🥳✅🤝🏾
- In December 2023, AIA received funding to continue to grow the business & produce an official product to replace the prototypes! 😱💰🙌🏾

I want you all on this journey with me to know that I have never considered myself a business woman & that a year ago I wouldn’t have seen “start your own business” on my 2023 bingo card! Do you know how BAD I am at charging people? 🤦🏾‍♀️ How would someone with those qualities succeed in entrepreneurship? Well, 2023 showed that I am already equipped and capable & that doubt has NO room here. I am simply trusting God & praying that he continues to order my steps on this path he brought me to.

I am looking forward to all that this year will bring for my business & the scholars that will be enriched from using these resources! I will continue to bring you along on the journey! Thank you so much for supporting me & my growing business! 💜💛💚
