Outdoor Adventures in Our Toddler Class!

Today, toddler students Kamryn and Micah were captured exploring the great outdoors through play, curiosity, and discovery! From observing nature to engaging their senses, outdoor learning provides endless opportunities for toddlers to grow, explore, and make meaningful connections with the world around them.

Nature is one of the best classrooms. Outdoor experiences help children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence, language, and a deeper appreciation for the environment. Every leaf, bug, flower, and breeze becomes a learning opportunity!

Jefferson Place would like to introduce it’s first interactive workbook for the Pre-Kindergarten class. Maya’s First Day at Jefferson Place with Watoto & Asha, two Jefferson Place characters created from it’s mighty logo, the Leopard. This amazing book will be on sale starting July 18, 2026 at the big fundraiser for the Jefferson Place Scholars Program. Please come by the center and support this most worthy cause.

Jefferson Place was so elated to present Mr & Mrs. Bryant and Erica Hamilton, with a plaque recognizing them for their continued committed support of our program. Thank you both for all that you do.

Congratulations to Christen Caldwell the 2026 recipient of the Gladys P. Jefferson Memorial Scholarship. Christen is a 1999 graduate of Jefferson Place Learning & Developmental, Center, Inc. She is a music major at the University of North Texas. We are so proud of you Christen!

Congratulations to Tamaya Haynes, the 2026 recipient of the Doris E. Patterson Memorial Scholarship. Tamaya is a 2012 graduate of Jefferson Place Learning & Developmental Center, Inc. We wish you all the best as you matriculate to Texas Southern University.
