Founded in 1929, Texas State Organization is a part of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International(DKG). This number later grew to seven.

DKG promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Purposes

Twelve women met in 1929 on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin with noble aspirations to build an organization to promote women in education and bring recognition and respect to their profession. The result of their planning was the founding of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society Internat

DKGSI wanted to shine some light on all the hard work our team at International HQ does for DKG. Our Staff Spotlight will shine on one of our Office Manager Bill Staples! Bill has been with DKG International since February 2017 and practices martial arts on the side! So, let’s all thank Bill for all his hard work and dedication in keeping the office and DKG running. 🔥

Donating: ASTEF-Red Bag Campaign
ASTEF has been designated as the Unifying Project for all Regional Conferences.
All donations will go directly to support the Project & Aspiring Educator funds.
Each member is challenged to donate at least $5.00. (If you are unable to attend, send your investment with a friend!)
Red bags will be placed on tables during lunch to collect your donations.
Cash is encouraged, or make checks payable to your Regional Conference Treasurer. (Directions will be provided.)
Donation amounts will be announced at the end of the day. Which region will donate the most? Will it be yours??

Celebrating:
the number of future teachers who received an Aspiring Educator Grant this year.
the amount of money awarded in TSO scholarships!
the chapters in your Region as they are announced and receive their Project Stipend Award!! (At least one chapter in every region applied & was selected!!)
