Saying “no” does not make you selfish, mean, lazy, or a bad person.

A lot of us were taught to prioritize everyone else’s comfort before our own needs…and that can make boundaries feel uncomfortable at first. But protecting your time, energy, and mental health is not something you need to apologize for.

The guilt may show up, but that doesn’t mean you did something wrong.
