Class of 2026 Alumni, Kayla Reyes, on why it is so important for students to be exposed to various careers in high school.
π§ Students may be asked to choose pathways long before they've had the opportunity to fully explore them.
At the Dallas-Fort Worth Student Success Summit, participants explored a question many educators and families wrestle with:
How do we help students prepare for the future when their interests and goals may change over time? π€―
The conversation highlighted the importance of giving students access to meaningful experiences that help them explore careers, discover new interests, and connect classroom learning to the real world.
Career Connected Learning isn't about choosing one path.
It's about helping students discover possibilities. β¨
