Meet the inaugural graduating cohort of SMU’s Master of Arts in Arts and Nonprofit Leadership (ANPL) program! 🎓
Lora Clack: “I’ve gained the freedom to pursue a new career path that combines my passion for social impact, creativity and leadership to create meaningful change on a larger and broader scale.”
Allison Heishman: “The ANPL master’s program has given me a new perspective on my work in nonprofit theatre, helping me see it as a connected ecosystem where the art, the audience, the messaging and the funding all inform one another.”

Congratulations to 2026 graduates Grace Williams (Journalism and Fashion Media) and Molly Medeiros (Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, who have been selected for the inaugural U.S. Chamber of Commerce New Fight for Free Enterprise Fellowship in Washington, D.C. 👏
Chosen through a highly competitive process, Grace and Molly will join a select cohort of emerging communications professionals, gaining hands-on experience in storytelling, policy communication, and advocacy while working alongside industry leaders at one of the nation’s leading business organizations.
SMU Meadows was one of only two schools in the country invited to partner with the U.S. Chamber on this new initiative. We can't wait to see the impact these talented graduates make!

We're entering an exciting new chapter for SMU Meadows School of the Arts! We're officially launching our Division of Design, bringing together Creative Computation, the Master of Arts in Design and Innovation (MADI), and SMU Guildhall under one innovative umbrella.
United by a shared commitment to creativity, design, innovation, and technology, these three programs form a dynamic ecosystem where art, human-centered design, computation, and interactive media converge to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of the future.
We are thrilled to begin this journey together and look forward to shaping the future of design, technology, and creative leadership at SMU.

to an unforgettable night at the Meyerson when Broadway legend and Meadows Award honoree Brian Stokes Mitchell joined our Symphony Orchestra and Choirs. What a magical evening of performances, which helped support our talented graduate and undergraduate students through the Meadows Impact Scholarship Fund. Grateful to everyone who made it possible!

The students in SMU's Master of Management in International Arts Management (MMIAM) program had an incredible trip to Beijing! Students visited the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, and the Forbidden City.
They also participated in the Digital Tourism Conference at Peking University and learned about China's cultural heritage, history, and cuisine. Building meaningful relationships with local guides and fellow students made the trip unforgettable!
