This version of my most favorite yellow bouquet is completed on canvas with acrylic by our youngest student! Here, the shadow is not just a shadow, but a marvelous turquoise focus.

Amazing artwork by Lyden! I enjoy seeing him bravely taking on complex folds, bouquet and a turquoise glass vase that has been our favorite challenge in the studio!

New discoveries are constantly happening in the Artwheel Academy! If we thought that a painting is defined by well organised and clear borders , Calvin redefined it with borders made of a color pallet and a border defined by curved yellow line. And… somehow it works! The white dots fading in the shadow, the bright cloth, the beautiful tea set are put together in a great composition!!!

What is the focus here?

A beautiful work by Artwheel Academy student Laila! She set her own bouquet and found an amazing shadow that it made on the wall. We had many discussions on how a shadow can also be the main focus of it is interesting enough !!! The result is even better in person and will be presented on our next kids’ art exhibition in the fall. Stay tuned!

The perception of our reality is unique! Many students at the Artwheel Academy tackled the Hydrangeas and everyone saw it and expressed in their unique way. Painting and drawing is a visual language. Artwheel trains the visual language so that one day its students have the tools to express their unique visions!
