Congratulations to U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Samuel L. McManus, who is one step closer to his dream of becoming a pilot as he receives his B.S. in Aeronautics.

Now that he has graduated, McManus will continue to assist with Navy ROTC officer training at the Daytona Beach Campus and receive additional military training as an officer.

Serving in the Skies: Embry‑Riddle Prepares Marine Officer, Father for Pilot Career After U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Samuel L. McManus spent almost every day in the air during a deployment to Afghanistan, he knew he needed to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot.

Meet Dori Stein (’27), an Eagle who is combining her passions for space and engineering through her degree and extensive research experience.

During her journey, Dori has raised the bar by presenting her research at Discovery Day during her first year, joining the Sailing Club and participating in a SpaceX-affiliated project.

Inspired by the spirit of entrepreneurship fostered in the ERAU O'Maley College of Business, alumnus Aiden McCollum (’25) combines his love for problem-solving with his technical skills to launch his own business.

As the founder and CEO of Postillion, Aiden designed an all-in-one club management platform to help student-run campus organizations handle their finances.

Aiden McCollum is Streamlining Club Management After firsthand experience with the difficulties of managing club finances, Aiden McCollum has created an all-in-one club management platform.

Recently, a multidisciplinary team of undergraduate students presented their research on fluid dynamics at the 2026 National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Richmond, Virginia.

Together, they were among 51 students from our Daytona Beach Campus who presented 35 projects at the conference.
