Water has no enemy.
Yet and still, there comes the time when you must battle the spirit of water as a rite of passage.
In the Holy Odu OgundaOturupon, for example, Ogun Lakaiye was king. The spirit of water challenged him to a war. And when Ogun refused, the spirit of water threatened to dry up the kingdom and destroy Ogun's people.
When besieged by the spirit of water, the first thing you must accept that there is nothing concrete to grasp. Although you are facing a physical challenge, it is neither solid nor subject to any type of force.
Extreme self control and total adherence to what is revealed spiritually are all that matter. To shirk from your spiritual obligations and fail to meet the water challenge will only invite even more severe conditions later on.
To battle the spirit of water is to learn to relax and depend upon subtle communications revealed intuitively, in dreams and through divination. In this way, living the medicine requires spiritual discernment.
I am looking for leaders who are ready to improve the world through positive influence. If that is you, find out how Obafemi Origunwa and the Orisa Lifestyle Academy can help you take your practice and your life to the next level.

AGOGO IDE: TO AVERT DISASTER & ATTRACT BLESSINGS
This is a divinatory charm born from the Holy Odu OwonrinOtura. It was when Orunmila was being attacked by a series of negative forces that Esu gave him the agogo ide. This is a brass bell Orunmila played daily in order to repel death, sickness, curses, losses, litigation and all forms of wickedness.
WHEN ASETA II IS RECOMMENDED
If you have recently consulted Ifa and you were told to sacrifice to protect yourself from attack, the agogo ide is ideal. If you find yourself experiencing one form of adversity after another, agogo ide can be exceptionally useful. Likewise, if you have been blessed but you want to increase your fortune, agogo ide is ideal.

When our obi is accepted, we eat one, downward-facing lobe and one upward-facing lobe. They represent negativity (ibi) and positivity (ire), respectively.
When I asked Araba Okemuyiwa to explain why this is the case, he replied, it is because good and evil are born together, tibi tire.
The baby is the ire. The placenta is the ibi.
Eating the ibi and the ire represents the synthesis of opposites. It signals the ability to transform both good and evil into fuel for self discovery, growth and expansion.
May your obi be accepted. Ase. May there be no limit to your ability to be healed and made whole. Ase. May you work tirelessly to fulfill your ancestral promise. Ase.
