WSA Faculty & Staff spent last week in “post planning” - reflecting on the year, preparing for the next and participating in professional development. As is our tradition, the culmination of post planning week is the Big Box Brigade - when grades teachers form a cheerful human chain and help each other move into their new classrooms. (In the Waldorf tradition of “looping”, teachers move up to the next grade with their class, bringing continuity and connection to each class community, including parents)!

The end of the year closing assembly is when we hold our Rose Ceremony for the 8th grade class. Their 1st grade friends return the favor by greeting them with a single, red rose, sending their 8th grade friend off to high school. It’s a sweet and touching ceremony. 🌹
