Summer is in full swing, and while the kids are enjoying their break, our Child Nutrition team is already gearing up for the next school year.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to prepare for the first day of school. From planning, training, ordering, staffing, menus, and supporting campuses, this team helps make sure our staff in the field have what they need to serve our students and campuses each day.

We want to give a huge thank you to our Coordinator and Leadership Team for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Your support, teamwork, and commitment make a difference across our department every single day.

Denton ISD Child Nutrition will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under at select campuses around the district.

No sign up is needed. Just bring your student by any participating campus to eat with us and enjoy a healthy meal this summer.

As we continue celebrating the staff who help keep Child Nutrition moving, we want to recognize our Admin Team.

This group works behind the scenes every day helping with the details that keep our department running. From paperwork and communication to hiring staff, reporting, ordering, problem solving, and everything in between, they play a huge role in making sure our teams have what they need.

We are so grateful for their hard work, patience, and dedication throughout the school year.

As we wrap up the school year, we want to give a huge shoutout to the staff working behind the scenes each and every day.

First up, our Field Supervisors. This team supports campuses across all of our zones and helps make sure our staff, kitchens, and meals are running smoothly every day. They are a huge part of our daily operations, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and dedication they pour into our schools.
