In collaboration with the Department of Chicana/o Studies and the 1 Book / 1 Project / 2 Transform Program, the MSU Denver community joined together around We Will Be Jaguars: A Memoir of My People by Nemonte Nenquimo and Mitch Andersonβa powerful story of resistance, identity, and environmental justice in the Amazon.
These events ensures the celebration of Indigenous voices and global movements for environmental and social transformation.

Middle and high school students from across the Denver metro area got a first-hand experience into MSU Denver's flight simulators β¬οΈ
This Tuskegee Airmen-sponsored Mile High Flight Program works to increase youth understanding of aviation and aerospace industries. Students also got to meet pilot James H. Harvey III, one of the original Tuskegee airmen.

π³οΈβπ Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA) β Offers student advocacy and academic pathways through Gender, Women, and Sexualities Studies. (Due to construction, GITA services will be remote during the summer).
