In Big Sky, Montana, where hospitality drives the economy, traditional childcare did not work for families who needed nontraditional hours. Yellowstone Club Community Foundation collaborated with local partners to develop a bold vision for early childhood education, which MFF is proud to support.
In our latest blog, YCCF Vice President of Philanthropy Ciara Wolfe shares how the organization is addressing residents' needs and building a new early learning center that keeps costs low for families while supporting teachers.

It's estimated that nearly 17,000 dams in the U.S. pose hazards if they fail, which is why MFF is proud to partner with American Rivers in its work to dismantle or remove dams nationwide.
In 2025, more than 100 dams were dismantled, reconnecting 4,900 miles of waterways and restoring them to support healthy aquatic life.

More miles of the country’s rivers were reconnected last year thanks to dam removals than at any other time in history.

We love biking here at MFF, and with the rise in popularity of e-bikes, this is a great reminder from PeopleForBikes on what to do with those dead batteries! They never go in the trash or recycling bin. 🚲 🚲

This Mental Health Awareness Month, our friends at HealthMPowers remind us that when you invest intentionally in the health of a community, the ripple effects can impact more people than you ever imagined.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
At HealthMPowers, we believe “nourished and active” means caring for the whole child—mind AND body 🧠💪
That’s why we’re intentionally weaving mental wellness into everything we do:
✨ Brain breaks that get kids moving, laughing, and refocused
🧘 Breathing, stretching, and mindfulness built into the school day
🏃♀️ Teaching that movement isn’t just exercise—it’s an effective and healthy way to cope when life feels heavy
Because sometimes, the best thing we can do is can do is move, breathe, and reconnect. Together, we’re building healthier habits for life—physically AND emotionally 💚

Our partners at Time to Breakthrough are seeking volunteers for their Mock Interview Days coming up in June. The deadline to sign up is quickly approaching, and help is still needed to ensure they can support people as they rebuild their lives.
🚨 Volunteers Needed 🚨 Ready to make a real impact?
Sign-up deadlines for our June events at Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility and La Vista Correctional Facility are quickly approaching—and these are two of our largest cohorts yet, with 70 participants at AVCF and 50 at LVCF.
To create the kind of meaningful, high-quality experience our participants deserve, we’re aiming for a 1:1 volunteer-to-participant ratio—and we can’t do it without you.
Show up, connect, and be part of something powerful. 💛
Mock Interview events help our participants prepare for reentry by providing a constructive space to where they develop interview skills, receive resume feedback, and build confidence in their potential in the workforce.
Don’t miss your chance to make a change! Sign up here: https://timetobreakthrough.org/get-involved/

Heaven gained an angel, but our hearts are shattered. Our longtime friend, Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, was taken from us way too young. She was the brilliance behind CSU Global, and truly believed that all students deserved access to an education that met their needs.
To us, Dr. Becky was a smiling, brilliant woman whose heart was so big that she wore a heart-shaped diamond. It was only fitting that Valentine's Day was her favorite holiday.
We will forever be grateful for her friendship, her kindness, and her vision in education. We will hold on to the beautiful memories as we navigate this heartbreak, and we send our prayers to her husband, Allen, and her family.
