Damarley Laing’s journey to graduation at MSU Denver was marked by perseverance, uncertainty, and determination. From the start, financial challenges nearly forced him to leave school during his first semester, putting his college dreams at risk.
Everything changed when he connected with scholarship support through programs like Epic Scholars and the generosity of donors. That support helped him stay enrolled, continue his education, and ultimately reach graduation day.
His milestone moment was both emotional and rewarding, celebrating his achievement while overcoming personal challenges along the way. On the very day he crossed the stage, Damarley also received a job offer, marking the beginning of his next chapter.
Now, with his degree in hand and aspirations of attending law school, Damarley’s story reflects the power of opportunity and the lasting impact of donor support.
