Say hello to Marleny, a proud graduate of the Class of 2026! During her time at FloCrit, Marleny found the financial and emotional support she needed as a young mother, plus a strong community of friends who she cherishes. Marleny's son Lyam is 2 years old, and she hopes to give him a life filled with everything she didn't have when she was little. With her graduation behind her, Marleny is excited to continue her studies at Community College of Denver in obstetric nursing while working part-time. As she looks to the future, Marleny envisions herself as a nurse and an empowered mother.

Our Clinical Summer Group Let's Touch Grass is back! This summer series is led by our therapists and is a movement and nature-based group focused don helping students and alumni get outside while learning new ways to cope, reflect, and connect.

The first Let's Touch Grass session was with the Denver Police Brotherhood Youth Boxing, a community-based boxing gym and youth development program run by the Denver Police Brotherhood. It uses boxing as a tool to teach young people discipline, confidence, and life skills, not just athletic training. The four moms - Zhane, Yaney, Maybelin, and Marleny - got try out some boxing skills, move their bodies, and experience a new way to engage in mental health wellness.

We love partnering with other organizations in the community while encouraging growth and mental wellness. More of this for summer 2026 please!

Bailey, Valedictorian of the Class of 2026, has her sites set on the future. She will be attending Arapahoe Community College for mortuary science, which she hopes will help her land her dream job. She hopes to be happily married with multiple children, living her best life in her dream location, and traveling a lot, all with her son Elliott by her side. We can't wait to watch you chase your dreams, Bailey!

Thank you to the U.S. Bank Foundation for supporting FloCrit’s Post-Secondary and Career Readiness Program for teen moms! Their support is helping young mothers explore career pathways, build education and career plans, and graduate ready for the future.

Bailey's 2-year-old son Elliott is a bright little boy who has transformed Bailey's life in a profound and beautiful way. Faced with the challenge of graduating high school as a young parent, she tapped into a well of courage and made her dreams a reality. As Bailey pursued her education, Elliott thrived at the Early Childhood Education Center. When envisioning Elliott's future, Bailey hopes for his happiness, health, safety, and financial security, all while staying grounded and compassionate.

Meet Bailey, the Valedictorian of the Class of 2026! Bailey's time at FloCrit was marked by a sense of community, belonging, and support. She treasures the moments with her friends - going to prom, having lunch together, and laughing in class. The life of a young mom can be full of stressors and unexpected road blocks. Bailey is grateful that FloCrit supported her with flexibility and understanding through any challenges that she faced. She was even able to access mental health support to help her navigate life.

Esteliz envisions a future filled with possibilities! She dreams of economic stability, a home, a car, and emotional well-being. Focused on building her career, she is dedicated to providing for her baby and family. This summer, she will take on a part-time job and pursue her studies in college come fall, fully committed to her growth.

Esteliz has a sweet 1-year-old daughter, Yoherliz, who spent time growing and learning at the FloCrit Early Childhood Education Center! Being a mom is a journey Esteliz embraces wholeheartedly, and it's been an incredible learning experience. She dreams that her little one has plenty of amazing opportunities and experiences, and lives a joyful, safe life with her, her daddy, and their family!
