Colorado UPK providers: Important changes are coming July 1. 📢
The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) will become the primary contact for Colorado UPK enrollment, technical assistance and statewide program guidance.
As part of these changes, support previously coordinated by Denver Preschool Program as Denver's Local Coordinating Organization (LCO) will transition to the Denver's Early Childhood Council (DECC). DECC will continue serving as a resource for providers and families, offering enrollment support and guidance on preschool options.
While the enrollment process for families remains the same, providers should familiarize themselves with these updated roles and points of contact.
❓Questions? Contact Diana Herrera at [email protected] for support and additional information.
