Traci Kern received her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from the University of South Dakota and her Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. Traci has been a professional voice teacher and performer for over 26 years and currently maintains a voice studio in Denver. Her students have been accepted to some of the finest vocal programs in the country and currently perform on Broadway (including a Tony Award winner), national tours, cruise ships, regional theater and on television (in a very musical show). She has music directed many shows including The Marvelous Wonderettes (Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton), City of Angels (Vintage Theatre), Seussical the Musical (THAC), High School Musical (THAC and Mizel Arts & Culture Center), A Year with Frog & Toad (Aurora Fox and Evergreen Players), Nunsense A-Men (THAC), Wonderful Town (Beacon School-NYC), and How To Succeed...(Fringe Festival-Scotland). In the past, Traci was the co-music director for several Magic Moments productions, vocal coach for Phamaly’s production of The Wiz and assistant music director for their productions of Beauty & The Beast, Man of La Mancha and Urinetown-The Musical! Traci has also been seen on stage in numerous productions. Some of her most recent favorites include Miss Jones/How To Succeed (THAC), Singer/SWING! (THAC), Singer/Smokey Joe's Cafe (Midtown Arts Center), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson/Storyteller (Ben Dicke Productions), Seussical/Sour Kangaroo (Arvada Center) and Joseph…Dreamcoat/Narrator (THAC & Cabrini Arts), Rent/Seasons of Love Soloist (THAC),Beauty & the Beast/Wardrobe (Breckenridge Backstage Theatre).

Auditions for adults 18+ will be held on July 14, 2026, from 10am-6pm.

Anyone interested in Ted, Lila, or ensemble must sign up for the dance call. After the dance call, we will hear everyone’s song/monologue. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANOTHER AUDITION SLOT IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE DANCE CALL.

Young Professional performers interested in the role of Charlie Winslow are asked to submit a video audition by June 30. Please include: Resume, Headshot (if you have one), a 30 second song selection in the musical theater style, and a 1 minute monologue. All videos should be unlocked to share with multiple creative team members. Send to [email protected].

Callbacks by invitation only will take place on July 15.
