CSI staff and board members recently toured Salida Montessori Charter School's new building in Salida! Salida Montessori is a PK-8 school that offers an authentic Montessori education leading to students who are independent, inquisitive, respectful and empowered to realize their individual potential in future academic and life endeavors. ✏️

CSI's leadership team and board chair recently had the chance to visit High Rockies Community School in Fairplay! High Rockies serves students in grades K-7 through a project-based learning model rooted in collaboration, hands-on exploration, and multi-age community. ⭐

Year after year, Steamboat Montessori students color a fabric quilt square. When they reach 5th grade, they sew every square together into a one-of-a-kind keepsake. This year, sixteen 5th graders completed their quilts, stitched together with years of memories and Montessori magic. Shoutout to art teacher Laura Tamucci for making this tradition possible! 🧵

Global Village Academy North middle school students experienced an amazing international adventure in China! They visited landmarks like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Oriental Pearl Tower. They also visited GVA's sister school in Shanghai!

Learning came to life far beyond any classroom, through culture, history, and firsthand global experience.
