Do you have a little one that is ready to make new friends, play, make art, dance and sing?! We invite you to learn more about our Little Explorers program!

On Fridays, throughout the school year parents and their little one spend two hours in a warm and energetic learning environment led by a highly qualified early childhood educator. This special space is designed to spark curiosity, encourage social interaction, and support both you and your child.

Students across Montview are celebrating pumpkin season with activities ranging from exploring the inside of a pumpkin to decorating pumpkins, drawing still life, hammering golf tees into pumpkins, and viewing famous pumpkin-inspired artwork!

Montview’s teachers know that each child learns best in their own unique way. While students are invited to participate in each activity, they have the power to decide which activity is most meaningful to them in a particular moment and spend as much as desired to maximize their own learning.

Deciding where to send your child for kindergarten is a big decision!

Our curriculum meets all of Colorado’s learning standards for kindergarten while providing children opportunities to engage in age-appropriate and joyful play, movement, art, and social experiences, not just sometimes, but every single day.

Magic potion anyone?!

A little water, a few leaves and sticks, and a hearty pot are sometimes all children need for a whole lot of fun.

The weather is heating up but Montview kids know how to stay cool!

Our nature-based play area has a large sand pit and a water facet that our students can turn on and off themselves. If our students are outside on a hot day, you will often find a group of them digging a river for the water to flow through, creating dams made of sand, standing in the water to cool down, and of course, splashing!

Our Little Explorers have had a great year making new friends, playing, singing, making art, and as this little one is doing…watching the snails.

Due to the l likelihood of thunderstorms Sunday afternoon, the location of Kim's Send Off Party will be moving to Montview. Same time, Same joy! Enter through the preschool doors.

After 8 wonderful years of dedication, care, and love, we are gathering tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, to celebrate Kim and wish her all the best in her next chapter.
