Field Day Fun!

We've started our new unit in science about sound. We made paper cup telephones to explore vibrations and how sound travels.

Happy better world day! We learn the importance of pollinators and how they help the garden world. We decided to help them out by planting flowers that attract them so they can do their job better.

Today is the 2nd Tuesday of the month which means you can stop by McDonald's on Alameda & Federal between 4-7PM to grab a bite & help contribute to our school! 🍔🍟🍦

We got our second letters from our pen pals in California. We love learning how to write letters and learning about new people and places.

Families of St. Rose, please be advised that class pictures have been rescheduled to take place next Monday, March 18, 2019. Students are to be in school uniform.

Norwegian is giving away free cruises to teachers To celebrate the debut of the Norwegian Joy ship in North America, the cruise line wants to reward American and Canadian teachers who are “inspiring joy in the classroom.”

We had a great time at Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. We saw the play Ella Enchanted and learned a little bit of how a play is put on and works. Then were learned about Chilean rain sticks and even got to make our own!

Parents, your students watched a video about the lunar eclispe and why the moon turns orange when it happens. Viewing the lunar eclipse would be a great extension of the lesson. Also, make sure to ask your student why the moon turns orange!

Here is when and where to watch the total lunar eclipse this Sunday night While most of the state is not expecting rain or snow, a few folks may have too many clouds to be able to see the night sky during the Super Wolf Blood Moon.
