Earlier this year, Drake hosted its 23rd annual Drake University Conference on Undergraduate Research in the Sciences (DUCURS), bringing the Drake community together to celebrate undergraduate research at its best—curiosity, collaboration, and real academic momentum. Featuring 50+ student projects across nine disciplines, the conference highlighted the hard work and innovation of student presenters and the guidance of faculty mentors who helped make each project stronger. 💙

During Relays Week, Painted Street—one of Drake Relays’ most enduring traditions since 1975—once again reflected the creativity and spirit of our campus. That same spirit carried into the Divine Nine Plaza dedication, honoring the service, leadership, and lifelong bonds of Drake’s National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) organizations. After the dedication, the community came together for —a powerful moment of solidarity first led by the Coalition of Black Students in 2018—inviting Bulldogs to recommit to equity, inclusion, and the work still ahead. 🐾🎨
