I am beyond thrilled to share that I have the opportunity to learn from one of the very best this summer- someone I have admired and looked up to for over a decade- My Judy!
A heartfelt thank you to and Judy B. for this incredible opportunity and for opening a window into becoming a future teacher educator.
AND a huge thank you to the Detroit Course for welcoming me to the team. I am absolutely geeked to be part of this course and can’t wait to learn, grow, and contribute alongside such inspiring educators!

A little unusual time signature fun with 5th! Take 5!
Passing game takeaways:
💙Include the word grab or “pick up“ in your passing rhythm.
💙Practice many times before playing the music where Student should pick up and where* students should pass.
💙Encourage students to leave bean bags or whatever you are passing that pile up or get out of order and NOT chase them.
💙Students should pretend they still have a beanbag even if they don’t. That way you as the teacher can fill in any cups that go astray without messing up the pattern.
