Last week, Fridays at The Station was a celebration of Detroit creativity, connection, and community.
Led by Will Daniels and The At-Will Band, Fridays at The Station featured performances by Al' Exist, Rēdi Choi, DJ Stacye J, and DJ KRW. Through live instrumentation, DJ-driven energy, and intentional collaborations, the evening highlighted the artistry and musicianship that continue to shape Detroit's cultural landscape.
We also held our first Study Session with Oshun Williams, creating space for guests to gather, learn, and engage. Guests also celebrated the grand opening of the North Court Wine Bar, a new gathering space designed to extend the experience beyond the music itself.
At Michigan Central, Fridays at The Station is about creating opportunities for Detroit artists to shape each evening in their own way while inviting audiences into experiences that bring together music, conversation, and community inside one of the city's most iconic spaces.
Thank you to everyone who joined us.

Fridays at The Station returns this summer with a new series built around sound, artistry, and Detroit culture.
On June 12, we kick things off with a fully curated concert experience featuring The At-Will Band with Al’ Exist, Rēdi Choi, DJ Stacye J, and DJ KRW.
The night moves seamlessly from set to set — from DJ Stacye J to The At-Will Band featuring Al’ Exist, a DJ and drummer set with DJ KRW and At-Will, and a closing performance with The At-Will Band featuring Rēdi Choi.
For The At-Will Band, Detroit’s music culture demands authenticity — and performing inside The Station means carrying that energy into a space with real history and legacy behind it. “Spaces like The Station naturally raise the standard,” the group shared. “We don’t take that lightly.”
New in June, Detroit artist Oshun Williams launches Study Sessions inside The Study at Michigan Central — an intimate conversation series spotlighting artists, creatives, and cultural voices. Through conversation, visuals, and audience engagement, Oshun will discuss his work, creative process, and perspectives as an artist in Detroit.
More than a concert, this is a night rooted in musicianship, collaboration, and the feeling of being in the right room at the right time.
June is just the beginning. July and August artists will be revealed soon.

Last week, Fridays at The Station welcomed Detroit jazz legend Marion Hayden back to the place where this series first began.
Joined by Straight Ahead, the Grammy-nominated group she co-founded, the evening became a celebration of Detroit’s musical legacy, women in jazz, and the power of live performance to bring people together. From soulful improvisation to Latin rhythms and moments of pure joy, the music filled every corner of The Station.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for another unforgettable night at The Station at Michigan Central. And thank you to erika.irie for closing out the evening with an incredible set.
