This last week ACT watched “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed” by Laura Poitras and Nan Goldin. We really enjoyed this watch, and it was a great piece of media to strengthen our knowledge of the opioid crisis.
What did you think? Have you watched this? Have you heard of Nan Goldin, Purdue Pharma, or the Sackler family? Let us know in the comments!

Just finished up our Russ Mauby service day! It was a blast! We made a meaningful change right here in Detroit, cleaning up rouge park and working at D Town Farm. We loved working together with Friends of Rouge Park and l other Americorps programs to make a difference!
Happy Prevention Week! This week our team went throughout Detroits midtown and downtown to hand out free Narcan to community members and local businesses. We successfully handed out all of our 400 doses, completely free! We can all be part of making our city a safer place to be.

This Minority Health Month, we’re recognizing the real impact of health disparities in underserved communities and doing something about it.
Through ACT overdose training, we’re bringing life-saving knowledge, resources, and naloxone directly to the community because access shouldn’t be a privilege.
Every conversation, every training, every share matters. How do we turn awareness into action this Minority Heath Month?
