We are so proud of Wayne Law student Kerri Tang, who took First Place in the Eleventh Annual AUWCL National Health Law Writing Competition at American University Washington College of Law! π
Kerri's winning paper, "Don't Kickback, and Relax: Navigating the Post-Regeneron Circuit Split and the Unsettled Future of 'Resulting From' in 2026," was inspired by her health law coursework and her experience clerking at a health law firm.
Kerri shared: "I am honored to represent Wayne Law and receive this prize from American University. This award is a reflection of the kindness that I have been fortunate to receive from so many people. I am very happy to be sharing this recognition with all of you."

Historic results for Wayne Law's Class of 2025.
95.2% of graduates secured full-time, long-term legal positions, a new all-time high. And on the February 2026 Michigan bar exam, 88% of Wayne Law first-time takers passed, compared to 61% statewide.
As Senior Assistant Dean Lisa Fadler shared: "Wayne Law is very happy to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our graduates, whose exceptional academic achievement, employment rates, and bar success exemplify the caliber of talent nurtured within our institution."
We are so proud of you, Class of 2025. Continue to do great things.

Professor Gregory Fox of Wayne State University Law School recently co-organized a global conversation on this question at a conference hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany.
