Kinematic Wolves

Xiomara joined the team her senior year and developed a quick interest in mechanical and business aspects of robotics. Xiomara got to work on projects that she enjoyed! During her senior year she worked at Corewell Health. Xiomara enjoyed her time on the team, and she said her favorite memory from the team is “being able to go to Worlds”.

Xiomara is now heading to the University of Michigan to pursue a degree in Biochemistry!

Melanie joined the team her senior year and quickly developed a strong interest in the business aspects of robotics, which led her to becoming an Impact Presenter. Melanie has learned a lot from being on the Impact team, not it only just being her first year on the team! Melanie has gotten to experience as much as she could with the time she had on the team! During her senior year she worked at Corewell Health with the CWS Program!

Melanie is now heading to Michigan State University to major in Nursing!

Alejandro joined the team as a freshman and quickly developed a passion for Mechanical. Alejandro has made such a huge impact by working on several projects. By getting to learn more about Mechanical aspects it has inspired him to learn more and have a huge interest in it.

Starting his senior year, Alejandro stepped into the role of being Mechanical Lead. Not only by stepping into the role of Mechanical Lead has just impacted himself but also his teammates. Alejandro has gotten the opportunity to share what he has learned throughout the years and share them with the underclassmen to teach them more about Mechanical and how things work.

Alejandro is now heading to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering!

Adrian developed a passion for electrical and mechanical aspects of robotics when he joined his freshman year. Through the years Adrian worked on wiring,mechanisms and build. Adrian showed dedication to the team by showing and doing hard work on the robots throughout the seasons.

His senior year stepped in and took the role of being Mechanical Lead. Adrian took this role because he showed all aspects to be Lead in Mechanical. Adrian worked with underclassmen and showed them how some specific tools worked in the shop.

Adrian is now heading to Universal Technical Institute to major in Diesel, EV, and Gas Mechanical!

On Wednesday, we attended Neinas Family STEM Night! We showed the middle schoolers how our robot Papoy works by walking them through the parts, sensors and letting them feed the intake and showing them how it shoots! We also taught them briefly about FIRST and how their school has a robotics team that they can join!

Day Three of the Houston
Championship is completed!!!

Today the Wolves played five matches and had one win and four losses. All though the Wolves had some challenges, we kept calm and persevered through them.

Today was also a very special day for the Wolves, we celebrated two birthdays on the team!! Our human player Marcelo and our mentor Richard!!!
