This FREE event is open to youth ages 8–18, lunch is provided, and parents are required to attend — so make it a family day! Scan the QR code on the flyer to register.

We have watched kids walk into this building in August completely checked out.

Not bad kids. Not struggling kids. Just kids who had already decided school wasn't really for them.

We get it, because nobody had ever given them a reason to think otherwise.

By December some of those same kids were pitching business ideas in front of actual community members. Running their own numbers. Arguing their case.

This is what happens when the work means something.

We're doing walk-in tours all week, June 8 through 12, from 9 in the morning until 3.

Students in entrepreneurship programs don't just learn business skills. Their grades go up. They show up more. They engage differently. When your kid learns to think like an entrepreneur, spotting problems, testing solutions, pitching ideas, something shifts.

The research backs it up: entrepreneurship education improves academic performance and attendance. But here's what the research doesn't capture, the moment a kid who used to shut down when something got hard starts saying "let me try a different way. "Middle school is when students either start believing they can figure things out, or they start believing school isn't for them.

So here's what you actually need to know about The Simple Vue Academy:

-We're tuition-free. Public charter school. No application fee. Enrollment is open right now for 6th–8th grade.

-We're STREAM-focused. Science, technology, reading/writing, engineering, arts, math, taught through real projects, not just textbooks. Your kid learns by doing.

-We teach entrepreneurship starting in 6th grade. Not because every student will start a business, but because every student benefits from learning how to spot problems, pitch solutions, and think like a creator.

-We're small on purpose. Classes are intentionally smaller so teachers know your child's name, strengths, and where they need support.

-We're building a 6–12 pathway. Right now we serve middle school. We're adding one grade each year.

-Transportation is free. We offer bus service across Douglas, Cobb, Paulding, and Fulton counties. Before and after-school care is available.

-Our culture is built on Ubuntu. "We are stronger together." Safety, respect, and community aren't add-ons here. They're the foundation.

To our families: Thank you for trusting us with your kids. For showing up to presentations, asking hard questions, and believing in what we're building together. Ubuntu isn't just something we say, it's something we live because of you.

To our team: You didn't just teach. You mentored. You challenged. You saw potential in students who didn't always see it in themselves. You built a culture where kids feel safe enough to try, fail, and try again.

This year, we proved something important: STREAM education works. Entrepreneurship belongs in middle school. Small schools can do big things.
