🐍🦎 Our first week of Summer Camp got WILD!
Yesterday, The Lizard Guy visited us and brought giant snakes, a large tortoise, and several different lizards. This exciting hands-on visit tied perfectly into our Seedlings Early Childhood Curriculum as our campers explored science, nature, animal habitats, movement, and new vocabulary.
The children asked questions, made observations, and learned through real-life discovery — all while having so much fun!

Our students had so much fun showing off their bright, silly, mismatched, and colorful socks — but the best part is that all of that fun tied right into learning!
Throughout the day, children explored colors, patterns, matching, counting, sorting, and comparing. They noticed stripes, polka dots, animals, rainbows, short socks, tall socks, and everything in between!
Activities like this help build early math skills, language development, observation skills, and confidence as children share something special about themselves with their friends.

☀️ Summer Camp starts Monday! ☀️

June 15th kicks off all of our summer fun at Lightbridge Academy of Doylestown! We are so excited for sunny days, new adventures, hands-on activities, and lots of smiles.

The best part? While our campers are busy having fun, they will still be learning, growing, exploring, and building new skills through our Seedlings Early Childhood Curriculum… and they won’t even know it! 🌱

🍦✨ Popsicle Day Fun! ✨🍦

Our students love cooling off with a sweet popsicle treat, but the fun doesn’t stop there! Popsicle Day is also a great chance to sneak in some learning through play.

The children explore colors, practiced patience while waiting their turn, used descriptive words like cold, sweet, sticky, fruity, and refreshing, and talked about how popsicles melt in the warm sun. ☀️

Simple summer moments like these help build language skills, social skills, sensory awareness, and curiosity about the world around us.

🦋✨ Seedlings Curriculum Spotlight! ✨🦋

Our Lightbridge Academy of Doylestown students have been busy learning all about metamorphosis through our Seedlings curriculum! 🐛🌿

The children explored how tiny caterpillars grow, change, and eventually become beautiful butterflies. They learned why caterpillars build a chrysalis, what happens inside, and how this amazing change is part of nature’s life cycle. 🐛➡️🦋

This week, our students will get to see the final step as we release our butterflies into our Children’s Garden! 🌸🌱🦋

We love watching our little learners ask questions, make observations, and discover the magic of the world around them. Learning is always more exciting when curiosity takes flight! 🦋✨

🎓🐻 Celebrating Our Pre-K Graduates! 🐻🎓

This week, we had so much fun surprising our amazing Brown Bear Pre-K graduates with special lawn signs to celebrate their big milestone!

Pre-K graduation is the first of many graduations and achievements ahead, and we are so proud to be part of the beginning of their educational journey.

Our amazing Pre-K Brown Bear class is graduating tomorrow, and we could not be more excited to celebrate them!

These wonderful children have grown so much this year. They have learned, laughed, explored, made friendships, and filled our classrooms with so much joy. Now they are getting ready to take their next big step into Kindergarten! 💙💛

We are so proud of every single one of our Brown Bear graduates and cannot wait to cheer them on as they shine during their special day.
