Pride Month kicked off in a meaningful and colorful way last week at the Bucks County Courthouse Lawn in Doylestown! Community members gathered to celebrate and cheer on the LGBTQ+ youth of The Rainbow Room as they raised the Progress Pride Flag on the County of Bucks flagpole. Faculty from DelVal's counseling psychology department will be joining the Doylestown Block Party on June 20! A special thank you to Dr. Audrey Ervin, professor of counseling psychology & a co-chair of Doylestown Pride Festival, and Christopher Walter, Program Director, for their leadership, support, and commitment to ensuring DelVal's presence at this year's event and ongoing advocacy and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Pride Month celebrations continue through June 26, with events and initiatives that extend throughout the year. Visit dtownpride.com to stay updated and get involved!
