Most children are surrounded by sound all day and never asked to actually listen to it.

When a child hunts for what they can hear — the refrigerator hum, the wind, the swing set — they are building focus, vocabulary, and early reading foundations without even knowing it.

That kind of stillness is not something you can rush. It happens when a familiar song comes on and everyone just... settles in together.

What does your child do when they hear a song from class outside of class?

Instruments in hand, bare feet on the mat, and eyes locked on his teacher. This is a child fully present in his own experience.

That kind of confidence doesn't appear all at once. It builds, week by week, in a room where a child knows he is safe to try. 💜🎶

When a toddler becomes a pirate, a chef, or a dinosaur, something real is happening underneath the costume 🏴‍☠️

That imaginative leap is not just play. It's practice for managing feelings, responding to new situations, and holding it together when things feel uncertain. Pretend play paired with movement is one of the most powerful things a young child can do.

Which character does yours become most often? 🎭

Children love to drum on just about anything... so why not give them four afternoons dedicated to it?

Our Drums, Drums, Drums! Camp begins next week, children will spend four afternoons exploring rhythms from around the world 🌍, creating drum crafts 🎨, and learning to make music together 🎶.
