The year went so fast and we are missing our people so it’s time for a little throw back to the year. It was always so fun to find a “twin” or sometimes a triplet💚

4th graders enjoyed their end of year trip the Ohio Statehouse and Judicial Center. They got to experience so many hands-on activities that directly related to their learning. One special friend even got to personally meet Governor DeWine!

End of year fun!!! Popsicles, walks to the Falls, final trips to the library, and ice cream… just to name a few. How lucky are we to have all of this in walking distance? 🍦📚☀️

Looking for an opportunity to keep your IRE students reading this summer? Would you like a chance to spend some quality time with your kids reading and chatting books? Well…here is an opportunity for all IRE students and families this summer.

Grab a copy of “Wombat Waiting” by Katherine Applegate at your local library, Amazon, Audible, or your favorite independent bookstore. “Wombat Waiting” is a novel in verse that will surely pull on your heart strings. With strong themes of resilience, compassion and surprising friendships, it is the perfect community reading choice for this summer.

During your grade level walk through on Wednesday August 19th, feel free to stop into the library and celebrate your reading with prizes and book chat! Also feel free to send photos of your students(s)/families reading to Mrs. Ullmer ([email protected]) to post on our IRE social media as we make our way through the summer!

Such a fun tradition! We joined together as a school community to cheer on our 5th graders in their Dodgeball Tournament. A perfect ending to a a great school year💚

Stop in TONIGHT at the Bridge Street Jeni’s for some ice cream on Tuesday 5/26 to celebrate the last week of the school year between the hours of 4pm and 7pm and Jeni’s will donate 25% of the proceeds back to IRE PTO!

Closing out the school year with a double World Changer of the Week! So proud of this group and all our IRE students and staff. What an amazing year we have had!
