In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many children are still grappling with heightened anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and challenges in social connection. Recognizing these growing needs through insights from the Panorama Education survey—and the importance of guarding students’ hearts and minds—Duluth Adventist Christian School (DACS) responded with intentional, faith-centered action. Grounded in Proverbs 4:23 (NIV), *“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it,”* the school hosted its very first Mental Health Wellness Day on Friday, April 17, equipping students with practical tools and spiritual truths to help protect their thoughts, strengthen their hearts, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and faith. It was a GREAT day at DACS!
