“It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them. What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God.”

Keep The Negativity Out
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
“There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from HEAVEN.”
(Luke 21:11, NIV)
TODAY'S WORD:
JESUS says that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of war, great epidemics, earthquakes, and famines. With so much negativity in the world today, many people are afraid and even panicked. But don’t give in to your fears. I know that some of the threats are real, but don’t let that get in you. Don’t talk gloom and doom and how bad it is. A ship doesn’t sink because of water around it. It can be surrounded by hundreds of miles of water on every side, but the water is not a problem. It’s when the ship lets what’s on the outside come inside that’s a problem. If you constantly take in the negativity around you, you’re going to sink, so to speak. Now choose to live from a place of faith, not a place of fear. When you’re in peace, that’s a position of power. When you know GOD is in control, you’re going to be strong. You’re going to feel a force sustaining you. GOD’s promise is that no weapon formed against you will ever prosper.
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
FATHER, thank YOU that I can shut the door to the negativity that comes against me and keep what YOU have promised and said about me close to my heart. Thank YOU that none of today’s gloom and doom need move me. I declare that my hope and expectancy is in YOU. In JESUS’ Name, Amen.

Divine restoration is assured, however, a willingness to undergo purification is essential.

Dear God, thank You for this day and for the reminder that my life isn’t random and it’s not my own. Your word in Romans 14:8 says, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” God, I spent so many years chasing the wrong things, but I’m grateful that You redirected my heart toward what really matters. Help me wake up every day with one question on my mind, and that’s how can I honor You today. No matter what’s happening around me, whether I’m winning or in the middle of a storm, I still belong to You and nothing can change that. That truth alone brings me more peace than anything this world could ever offer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. -Romans 14:7
