We are SO proud of our girl for getting her white coat today! Leah was Douglasā YPT this past semester, and truly did an incredible job. To know Leah was to know Doug- and to adore them both. For her ceremony, Leah sported a black lab pin and a special ring with Dougās nose print on it to honor him. Hereās what Leah had to say about her & Dougās special bond:
āThe white coat ceremony is symbolic for the past two years of endless hours of studying and hard work. The ceremony marks the transition into our year of clinical experiences. Today I held a special place in my heart for the pup that got me through the last 5 months of school. Doug never missed a class, lab, or late night study session. He was there. Doug made his transition into his next phase of training a few weeks ago and today marked the start of my transition into my next phase of training. Me, my classmates and professors will forever be grateful the moments we got to spend with Doug. This semester has been so impactful to so many.ā
