At Gorman Christian Academy, we create a nurturing environment that inspires and empowers young minds, giving students a well-rounded foundation for lifelong success. Our Transitional Kindergarten program prepares 4 year-olds for the exciting transition to Kindergarten, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to thrive. We proudly accept The NC Opportunity Scholarship, making quality education accessible to more families. Our small class sizes allow for personalized attention, fostering an environment where every student can excel. From sports to music and art, our diverse extracurricular programs ensure students can explore their interests and develop new talents. With weekly chapel services and Bible classes, we integrate a Christian perspective into our curriculum, nurturing both the mind and spirit. We invite you to visit our campus and see firsthand what makes Gorman Christian Academy special. Schedule a tour today!
This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it! Our Transitional Kindergarten students are giving thanks for their morning breakfast. GCA is dedicated to fostering a lifelong passion for learning. It all starts with our 4 year olds as we focus on their academic and spiritual development.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, classes created cheers for their teachers. In this video, GCA reporter, Aaron Mason talks to Fourth Grade students about how Ms. Evans helps them shine.

GCA teachers really shine like the sun! We have had a great week celebrating our amazing teachers and staff! We are so thankful for how they fill our school with sunshine and joy. Their warm presence helps our students to shine so bright. Each day, they were blessed with breakfast, lunch, a sweet treat, or a gift card. Thank you to the FAN Club for making this happen. We are especially grateful to all the businesses who contributed to make this week extra special.
May is full of celebrations. Let's celebrate our coaches for their outstanding effort in leading our basketball teams to reach their goals. Our girls' team finished runner-up in the Triangle Middle School Athletic Conference. Our boys' team hosted their first tournament game on campus. Next year, GCA is looking forward to joining the Piedmont Middle School Athletic Conference.

GCA is thankful to partner with our local pastors for building the kingdom. Today, GCA welcomed Pastor Ian Turner from Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Durham. He has been leading the student ministry there since 2023. Next week, Pastor Paul Camp from Gorman Baptist will lead our final chapel of the year. Today, students learned what is means to be faithful from Acts 16. When God says, “no” we can trust that he has something greater planned for us. He is faithful to his promises. We are to do the same, remaining anchored in our faith. The character focus for May is faithfulness. Let's see who will be our Eagles in Flight this week for demonstrating faithfulness!
