UWEC Activities, Involvement & Leadership

Want to get Involved at UWEC but don't know how? We at the Activities, Involvement, and Leadership Office have some tips on how to get started!
1. Join an org: this is a great way to get to know other students from anywhere on campus.
2. get involved with Greek Life.
3. Leadership and Volunteerism: these are great ways to make you stand out, as well as to fulfill your service learning requirement for graduation!
4. Go to University Activity Commission events: these events are hosted throughout the semester and the UAC is always trying to find fun things for students to do and take part in!
5. Join Student Senate: Student senate is the UWEC student body government and acts on behalf of students throughout the university.

🎥Summer Cinema update for tonight🎥

It's another rainy day, so Princess and the Frog (6/17) will be moved indoors to the Woodland Theater. Movie will start at 8:00pm and free popcorn and donuts will be ready for you.

Typically indoor movies started at 9:00pm to stay consistent with the outdoor events. We don't have to wait for the sun to set in the theater though, so we're going to try something different this year!

Dreams do come true in New Orleans (Or Should we say Eau Claire?). Hop on down to the Princess and the Frog and get a taste of Tiana's cooking with some donuts and make-your-own crown so you don't have to kiss a frog to become royalty!

The forecast for this evening continues to shift, so we've made the tough decision to cancel Summer Cinema tonight. Stay home and stay safe!

Why, it's greased lighting! Take a pit stop and come down to see Grease, and you might even learn that you were born to hand jive! Gas up and gear up for some root beer floats and kick off summer with a summer bucket list!

Not familiar with Summer Cinema? Activities start at 8:00pm and the movie starts at 9:00pm out on Davies Amphitheater nearly every Wednesday this summer. We'll have movie-themed snacks and activities too! If we need to move fun indoors because of weather, you'll find us in Woodland Theater (3rd floor Davies)!
