Parents had the opportunity to learn about Human Trafficking Prevention, Stop the Bleed, and Naloxone/Fentanyl Awareness during a recent workshop.

Last week at La Fe Preparatory, we celebrated our amazing students with a special dance to get them excited and ready for the STAR test.
It was all about encouragement, energy, and showing our students how proud we are of them. Keep shining, La Fe stars! 💛💙

Our PK, Kindergarten, and 1st-grade students had an amazing field trip at La Nube! 🌤️ A huge thank you to El Paso Electric for sponsoring this wonderful experience and making it possible for our students to attend. We’re grateful for your support in helping our kids explore, learn, and have fun! 💛✨

We are incredibly proud to share that our students were invited to attend a special proclamation ceremony with the El Paso City Council and the Mayor in recognition of March being designated César Chávez Month.

During today’s City Council meeting, our students had the honor of officially accepting the proclamation on behalf of our school. It was a special moment to represent our campus and our community.

We are especially proud to celebrate our Regional Spelling Bee Champion, who is advancing to the state competition along with four other outstanding students from our region. She was invited to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the meeting and did an exceptional job, representing our school with confidence, poise, and excellence.

Our students showed up dressed sharp, demonstrated professionalism, and truly embodied leadership. We are beyond proud of each of them! 💙✨

Nos enorgullece enormemente compartir que nuestros estudiantes fueron invitados a una ceremonia especial de proclamación con el Ayuntamiento de El Paso y el Alcalde en reconocimiento a la designación de marzo como Mes de César Chávez. Durante la reunión del Ayuntamiento de hoy, nuestros estudiantes tuvieron el honor de aceptar oficialmente la proclamación en nombre de nuestra escuela. Fue un momento especial para representar a nuestro campus y a nuestra comunidad. Nos enorgullece especialmente celebrar a nuestra Campeona Regional del Concurso de Ortografía, quien avanza a la competencia estatal junto con otros cuatro estudiantes destacados de nuestra región. Fue invitada a dirigir el Juramento a la Bandera en la reunión e hizo un trabajo excepcional, representando a nuestra escuela con confianza, aplomo y excelencia. Nuestros estudiantes se presentaron elegantes, demostraron profesionalismo y un liderazgo ejemplar. ¡Estamos sumamente orgullosos de cada uno de ellos! 💙✨

This past Saturday, February 28, our La Fe chess team achieved a resounding success at the regional chess tournament, securing first place in the 3rd-5th grade Region 4 Chess Championship section. We also claimed a strong second place in the Kinder-2nd grade Region 4 Chess Championship section. One of our newest first-grade chess player, delivered an impressive performance, earning third place individually in the Kinder-2nd grade section. Notably, one of our 5th grade chess players won the Region 4 Girls Chess Champion, showcasing her exceptional skill and solidifying her position as the top girl in the tournament. As a result, she will compete in the prestigious Texas Junior Invitational Chess tournament, vying against 10 other talented girls to determine which one will represent Texas in the national chess championship. We couldn't be prouder of our accomplished chess team! 🙌

El pasado sábado 28 de febrero, nuestro equipo de ajedrez de La Fe logró un éxito rotundo en el torneo regional de ajedrez, obteniendo el primer lugar en la sección de 3.º a 5.º grado del Campeonato de Ajedrez de la Región 4. También logramos un sólido segundo lugar en la sección de Kínder a 2.º grado del Campeonato de Ajedrez de la Región 4. Uno de nuestras ajedrecistas más recientes de primer grado tuvo una actuación impresionante, obteniendo el tercer lugar individual en la sección de Kínder a 2.º grado. Cabe destacar que una de nuestras ajedrecistas de 5.º grado ganó el Campeonato Femenino de Ajedrez de la Región 4, demostrando su excepcional habilidad y consolidando su posición como la mejor jugadora del torneo. Como resultado, competirá en el prestigioso torneo Texas Junior Invitational Chess, compitiendo contra otras 10 talentosas niñas para determinar quién representará a Texas en el campeonato nacional de ajedrez. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestro exitoso equipo de ajedrez! 🙌

Dear Parents,
Due to the weather forecast and expected low temperatures, tomorrow, Monday, January 26, we will begin the day with a delayed start. Classes will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.

Please note that campus faculty and staff will follow their regular start times to ensure a smooth and safe transition for our students.

Regarding after-school programs, we will continue to monitor weather conditions and will notify families if programs will proceed as scheduled or be canceled.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these weather conditions.
