Tigers, I wanted to thank all of you for taking the time to express how important the graduation ceremony at EPHS is to our community. Last year I reached out to EPISD and was told the graduation at EPHS is “untouchable”. I believe that it is still untouchable but I wanted it be clear for anyone who looks at our page. I knew exactly how the post from yesterday was gonna go before I posted it but I wanted it to be seen. I wanted EVERYONE to see how important this tradition is to the EPHS community. In these times of soaring costs I wanted the importance of the ceremony to be seen and felt so EVERYONE knows it’s not an event where costs could or should be saved. Thank you Tigers, have a great weekend!! You only understand the Tradition if you were blessed enough to live it.

Tigers: the graduation is not moving.

I’m just curious but how many Tigers think or feel that the EPHS graduation should be moved to the Haskins Center at UTEP? Please share you thoughts. I was told “several people and students” feel it should be moved and I think we’ve shown that is not at all the case.

For the record, I LOVE our unique and gorgeous graduation on The Hill.
