Burges Mustang Wrestling

This week, on Burges Wrestling:
Once again Burges and Parkland Wrestling team up and traveled to Gunnison Colorado to take on the Colorado University Slate Team camp!! 20 wrestlers from our teams went out and competed in 17 rounds of wrestling duals in only 4 days. This year we were able to nominate 5 wrestlers as Camp All-Stars, meaning they only had 1 loss or were undefeated in their weight class. The girls team also had a 2nd place team finish with 2 girls representing the team in the All-Star match up! We are extremely proud of all of you for your dedication and hard work. This experience will surely pay off for all of you this coming season. Thank you to all our parent chaperones and all our families for all your help and support. We couldn’t have done this without you!! And thank you Western Colorado University Wrestling for putting on a great camp and always welcoming our team!!
