Good news, art is ready, bad news, manuscript formatting needs extra time.
Great news? I’m still closer than I was a year ago and inching towards the finish line!! I also tested a draft (body and cover) in Amazon self publishing portal and it looks good, no major hiccups once it’s ready.

Why do I resist achieving my own dream? What am I afraid of? I’ve dreamt of being an official author illustrator for YEARS now. So you’d think I’d be racing to the finish line since I’ve finally figured out the self publishing process and requirements on Amazon….. but here I am, expecting perfection, second guessing, insecure, you name it. I can’t wait to make you all proud but mostly, myself too. ❤️

I’ve been debating on whether or not to share sneak peaks because then I would be held accountable😅 The creative process is so strange, either you’re in the zone or you’re not. Conscious, forced, daily effort on this new project has been both challenging and so rewarding for me. It also doesn’t hurt that I have two little mini mes asking how it’s going.😂 Any guesses as to what I’m making?
