Summer Art Afternoons have officially begun! 😇🎨

Our summer camps run in the mornings from 10 AM–2 PM, and we offer summer art classes in the afternoons as well!

🎨This week we enjoyed painting animals, inspired by the artist Ashley Percival. We focused on bright colors and fun colorful backgrounds! 🙈🍃🐘🐅

✨Something new is coming to Petit Bizoo!

🎨Tween Art Café!

⚪️This 10-week workshop is designed to help our tween artists connect to their senses and explore mindful art practices in a supportive, creative space. Each week we will focus on one of our human senses — taste, smell, touch, sound, and feel. Every session will begin with a sensory grounding exercise to help artists slow down, tune into their bodies, and create with intention rather than judgement. Afterward, artists will choose from creative centers and work on art inspired by the evening’s theme. We will end each session with a pizza dinner, where parents are welcome to join us.

⭐️We have also opened this class to parents who would like to participate alongside their tween! Parents are welcome to join us at the beginning of class for the mindfulness and sensory grounding exercises, or simply come at the end of the evening to enjoy pizza and connect with one another.

Such cute capybaras!!! 🧡

We had so much fun creating clay sculptures of these adorable little capybaras in their lily pad, Monet inspired home! 🪷

We loved combining Monet’s classic artistic style with one of our favorite popular animals. Great job, everyone!! 💟

Everyone did an excellent job on their still life project!

🎨We used a real life setup as reference for this still life project and practiced drawing what we actually saw while paying attention to shadows, proportions, and details!!! Our students were able to choose for different and unique setup stations. So cool!
