Children feel our energy. They know.
They may not always have the words to fully articulate what they sense and feel, but they know, and their actions will tell you. When they are around people whose energy feels good to them, they move closer. When they are around energy that doesn’t feel good, they often hold back.
Helping children understand and express their feelings, cultivate kindness and compassion for themselves and others, and develop the building blocks of emotional intelligence is at the heart of what I do. I don’t do that through worksheets or preaching. I do it through high-vibrational music, movement, stories, and connection.
My contribution to creating positive change, sharing goodness, and elevating good energy is through children and the adults who love them. How do we shift society? Through children.
Instead of spending adulthood unlearning harmful patterns, we can help children build strong foundations from the very beginning. Instilling goodness from the earliest age is how I do my part.
Children are my why.
This has never been a stepping stone to something else. I didn’t create children’s media as a bridge to another career or opportunity. This has been my mission for my son’s entire life.
I’ve simply grown it at a pace that worked for our family while navigating some very real and very difficult life experiences along the way. Those experiences didn’t stop me. They strengthened my resilience, deepened my purpose, and became fuel to keep going the distance.
Because children matter.
And the ripple effect of helping a child feel good about themselves can last a lifetime. 💜
