Karen’s life, generosity and commitment to serving others have left an enduring legacy that will continue to impact generations to come.

Through the extraordinary philanthropy and vision of the Huntsman family, thousands of young Sigma Chi men have been inspired, challenged and equipped to become values-based leaders in their communities and professions. Their support of leadership development within Sigma Chi, along with the Huntsman family’s commitment to advancing cancer research through the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, has inspired chapters across North America to embrace the mission of becoming the “Generation to End Cancer.”

Congratulations to the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Sigma Chi Foundation Marketing & Communications and Annual Programs teams on their recognition at this year's Fraternity Communications Association Awards.

We're especially proud that the launch of Sigma Chi's historic capital campaign at Grand Chapter and our 2025 Founders Day of Giving effort earned Third Place in the William C. Levere Award for Total Communication.

We're building on that momentum in year two of the Foundation's $85 million campaign, the largest fundraising effort in the history of the Greek-letter world, with our 2026 Founders Week of Giving returning June 22-28.

The Sigma Chi Foundation is proud to announce that its Board of Governors has elected new leadership for the 2026 to 2028 biennium.

Sigma Chi's 69th Grand Consul, Order of Constantine Sig and Significant Sig Michael Ursillo, BROWN 1978, has been elected chairman, while Order of Constantine Sig and Significant Sig Joe Martin, HOUSTON 1976, was named Vice Chairman.

The new roles became effective on Thursday at the conclusion of the Foundation’s Spring Board of Governors meeting in Roanoke, Va.
