Today, we observe Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the day when the last enslaved people in the United States learned of their freedom.
At Sacred Heart, we remain committed to fostering a community grounded in dignity, respect, and belonging. We use this moment to reflect on our shared history, recognize progress, and consider the work that remains in building a more just and equitable society.

What began as a 10-day clinical experience in Malawi, Africa, became a “life-changing” opportunity for our nursing students.
