Earlier this month 13 Fayette County 4-H youth set sail to Burton 4-H Center for Marine Exploration Camp. There were so many exciting activities, from shark dissection, march ecology, seining, to a river boat cruise with dinner and dancing! If you know anything about 4-H events, we love to dance!

Next week we will host our Junior Master Gardener Day Camp, June 23-25th! Master Gardener Extension Volunteers will be teaching gardening concepts with fun hands on activities! We still have a few spaces left! To register, please come to the Fayette County Extension Office by Wednesday, June 17th. Registration Fee: $25

Calling all 1st-3rd Graders!!! July 13 - July 16 are the dates for our Cloverbud Day Camp!! This year our theme is Farm to Fork and we have lots of games, crafts, activities, AND MORE planned for this fun-filled week!
Registration fee is $100 and includes all activities! We still have openings for Cloverleaf Camp at Rock Eagle the week of June 22nd-26th! The weeklong camp costs $460, you get to pick your roommates, and have the best time of your life!!!

We currently have 8 male spots open and 4 female spots open for grades 4th-6th! 4-H grade levels go from August 1- July 31st, so whatever grade your child just finished is the grade they are in for summer camp purposes!

Our office is currently dealing with a water leak due to a busted water heater from over the weekend. Please be patient as we often cannot hear the phones ringing over the fans and construction. As well, make sure to check out Suite 209 and Suite 210 for staff members as 210 offers everyone a break from the noise.

Our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th. Our office hours are 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. We do not close for lunch; however, due to low staffing it might occur. If this occurs, there will be a sign posted on the door of our main office, Suite 209!

WOW! Our Fayette County teen leaders crushed this past weekend! We had our teens who wanted to attend Cloverleaf Camp as leaders put on an entire weekend of classes for our 4th-6th graders! This weekend allowed us to train our teen leaders and see what they can bring to the table! 🍀

Summer activity registration starts Tuesday, May 26th! ☀️

Come join us today at the Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Kids to Parks event at Drake Field from 10am-1pm!

We are in need of donations for our Specialty Camps & Cloverleaf Camp this summer!!

- Bath mats are one of our highest priorities as the bathrooms at the centers do not have them and we do not want our kids falling when they get out of the shower!

- Individually wrapped snacks are also a high priority item so we can provide snacks to our kids at our various camps throughout the summer!

- Water and ginger ale

- Bug spray & sunscreen

- Candy
