Scholarships for Forestry Students
The Railway Tie Association, a railroad supply organization, wishes to assist future leaders in the railroad supply industry with two $1500 scholarships for students enrolled in an accredited forestry program.

General information
One or both of these scholarships are open to Junior and Senior students at four-year colleges and universities and one of these scholarships is open to second-year students in a two-year institution.
Each application will be reviewed with emphasis placed on the following criteria:
Scholastic achievement- 60%
Leadership qualities- 30%
Career objectives- 25%
Financial need- 10%
The Education Committee may also award or deduct up to 50 points for each applicant's written narrative depending on the quality of the narrative.
