Kamp K at Olio

We love Slop-A-Roo Week!! Today we had a pie eating contest racing against our friends to see who could find the Hershey kiss in the pie!! We got our hands dirty and made our own DIY pizzas!! Sending your kampers home with full bellies and messy faces!! At chapel we continued to learn about the Fruits of the Sprit. Today we focused on PATIENTS. We learned that when you pray to God you might not always get an answer right away. We have to continue to trust and put our faith in Him. Patients is waiting without complaining.

We had such a fun day at Brook School Park! Playing basketball, tag, hide and seek, knockout, and got some workouts in at the workout area! After our field trip we still had time to make some home made squishies out of balloons!

Today we got messy!!! We played with shaving cream and created art!! We also had chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels for our chocolate drizzle activity!! We finished the day making some spinners out of old CDs. If you think this is messy just wait till the end of the week!! Slop-A-Roo week is going to be so much fun!!!

Join us from June 22nd – 26th for Slop-A-Roo week at Kamp K!! Our kampers will be getting messy with shaving cream art, pie eating challenge, and DIY balloon confetti poppers! Taking field trips to local parks and the Monon Water Park! Come and join in on all our summer fun!!

All week our kampers have been constructing egg drop structures. Today we put them to the test! Each structure was engineered differently and almost all the eggs survived the fall! Kampers learned to make slight changes when initial testing failed. We had som much fun testing and learning to engineer our structures!
