It is with both deep gratitude and a bittersweet heart that we say farewell to Principal and friend , Diana Wagner, the remarkable principal of Floresville Early Childhood Center. Her dedication to our littles has shaped countless young lives, and her impact on our school community will be felt for years to come.
Principal Wagner has been the steady, caring heartbeat of ECC — a leader who greeted every child with warmth, supported every teacher with encouragement, and welcomed every family with open arms. She created a place where children feel safe, loved, and ready to grow, and that is no small thing.
As she steps into this well-deserved new chapter, we want her to know that her legacy lives on in every classroom, every hallway, and every child who walked through our doors.
She leaves behind a school full of people who are better because of her. We will miss her smile, her wisdom, and her unwavering heart for early childhood education. Floresville ECC will forever be a reflection of the love and dedication she poured into it every single day.
Principal Wagner, wants to thank everyone — from the bottom of her heart for the support she and the staff received all year. We hope that Principal Wagner enjoys every moment of her retirement. Looking forward to a new opportunity for ECC in the upcoming new school year.

Summer Camp Offered at North Elementary. Make Summer Count at Right At School!

Nurse Brenda-Thank you for the incredible care and love you pour into our little ones every single day. The work you do goes so far beyond checking temperatures and bandaging scraped knees — you are often the first familiar face a scared three or four year old sees when they don’t feel well, and the calm, gentle way you care for them makes all the difference in the world.

We are so grateful for everything you gave to Floresville ECC. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter. You are truly appreciated!

PARENTS- UPDATED DATE CHANGE
Due to forecasted thunderstorms for May 20th ECC has decided to change the date of our WATER DAY to the following week on Tuesday, May 26th. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR.

JUST A REMINDER
Please join us for our final May INK Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026 starting at 8:00 am. We will discuss the transitions from the 3 yrs. olds to 4 yr. olds and from 4 yr. olds to Kindergarten. We will also recognize Perfect Attendance for the last 9 weeks and for the whole year. Please mark your calendars to attend. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you.

ECC will have some special , student only, End Of The Year events coming up in May. On May 20th we will be having an afternoon of Fun and Water . Your child's teacher will be sharing this information on REMIND as well . The last week of school students will enjoy other exciting activities so mark your calendars.

Last week, we celebrated our amazing teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, and what a week it was! None of it would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community partners. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every business and individual who showed up for ECC this year.
A huge thank you to RBFCU for treating our staff to Starbucks coffee and bagels, H-E-B for the generous gift card donation, Oak Hills Community Church and Dr. Odem for the delicious sandwiches, and Starbucks for the coffee donations that kept everyone going. Thank you to Emergency Care for the breakfast tacos, Elite and Sonic for the refreshing drink donations, and John Guerrero for sponsoring a Teacher Appreciation Massage Day — what a special treat! We also want to recognize WCRSP (Wilson County Retired School Personnel) for the yummy brownies and their continued support of our Mavericks, Aunt Annie’s and La Tapatia for their wonderful gift card donations, and Sweet and Salty Prints for donating their time and talent to print custom stadium seat cushions for every one of our teachers and staff — a gift they will enjoy for a long time to come!
Our teachers and staff are the heart of ECC, and because of community partners like you, they felt truly seen and celebrated this week. Thank you for investing in the people who pour so much into our children every single day. We are so grateful! 🍎❤️
