For those who don’t know the term “crypt” means one or both testicals don’t fully descend into the sc***um (sometimes the inguinal ring can even be closed).
When this happens the animal must have abdominal surgery to remove the testicals.
For horses this can be pretty scary and not a surgery you want to take lightly.
Thank goodness we are over and done with and have a regular old gelding now 😅

Welp vacation is over pretty quickly when you get a call to take on a horse in very poor condition from a seizure case. Unfortunately she will probably get some good pain meds and be given a peaceful end, we will get some x rays and talk with the Veterinarians but it doesn’t look good at this point. Atleast she won’t be starved to death.
All the good vibes and prayers needed for Ms. Hope.
